March is a perfect time to photograph brown hares, and one of the best places to photograph them is RSPB Havergate in east Sussex. One of the best way to do that is by joining Tom Masons hare workshop. Not only is Tom an incredible photographer, but he is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to Brown Hares, having spent many years photographing them himself.

For more information about Tom and his Brown Hare workshops visit his website tommasonphoto.com

Below features some of the highlights of my visit, where I was able to get close enough to use lenses with focal lengths of 300mm, 135mm and even a 60mm macro lense.
